Non-woven Wound Dressing

1. Lint-Free & Low Particulate Shedding Made from bonded synthetic or cellulose fibers (e.g., rayon, polyester, or polypropylene) rather than woven cotton. This produces virtually no loose fibers or lint, reducing the risk of foreign body reaction, wound contamination, or adhesion to healing tissue. 2. High Absorbency & Fluid Retention The non-woven structure creates a three-dimensional network that rapidly wicks exudate away from the wound bed and holds significantly more fluid than traditional woven gauze, keeping the wound cleaner for longer. 3. Soft & Conformable Non-woven dressings are much softer and more pliable than woven gauze. They drape easily over curved surfaces, joints, or irregular wound beds without causing pressure points or discomfort. 4. Non-Adherent to Wound Designed to resist sticking to granulating tissue, sutures, or healing epithelium. This allows for pain-free removal and reduces trauma to fragile new tissue during dressing changes.
